Starting point<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zupan is a renowned manufacturer of agricultural sprayers, developing and selling sprayers for fruit, wine and hop growing since 1990. They are present in 14 different countries. In addition to its manufacturing activities, the company also has its own physical shop selling equipment for fruit and wine growing, which was joined by an online shop in 2012. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Problem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company had an existing website with a configurator, but it was slow and outdated in design. The key problem was the inadequate design of the application, which did not support such a complex solution. This made the process of making changes difficult and time-consuming, especially in the case of the configurator, where complex configurations were required. The slowness of the system had a negative impact on the workflow and user experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the administrative interface created problems due to inadequate adaptation to the needs of the company. The process of adding new items was fragmented into several unnecessary steps, which reduced work efficiency. The editorial system used included unnecessary functionalities which were burdensome, while the translation module was completely separate from the rest of the functions. This required duplication of data entry, which further slowed down work processes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project started with a classical linear approach. Based on the defined requirements, proposals for practical solutions were developed, including plans for flow diagrams, database diagrams, user flow and basic wireframes. After validation of these plans, prototypes were built and programming guidelines were defined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Development started after the client’s approval and was carried out in several iterations. During this time, prototypes were presented to the client to allow for ongoing feedback and corrections. The iteration process was carried out twice, each time adjusting the functionality and improving the user experience based on the feedback received. The final phase consisted of thorough testing to ensure that the final solution performed optimally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the client’s specific requirements, a basic layout of the website was first created, which was in line with the company’s overall graphic image. Once the layout was approved, the final look of the website was created, which successfully integrated with the company’s existing online store and incorporated key graphic elements that were recognisable to the brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the design was being developed, detailed planning of the website’s functionality was also being carried out. Detailed flow diagrams and databases were drawn up, giving a clear overview of the technical requirements and the distribution of tasks. This ensured that the website would run smoothly and provide an excellent user experience in line with modern standards. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Configurator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The configurator has been designed for two purposes. To prepare bids as a client and bids as an agent. The two interfaces differ in the number of functionalities they can modify. Customers can configure the offer within defined parameters while agents can prepare a custom offer with discounts, additional functionalities and the possibility to send the offer to the customer’s inbox. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
